“World in smallness” project

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

I don`t know what is the best translation for new advertising project “Svet v malem”. Anyway agency Mediamix from Maribor hired me to take pictures for client Europark. They have extended their shopping center again and they needed 6 different pictures for billboards all over Maribor and surroundings. If anyone is from there I would appreciate to hear opinions or even get some pictures of those giants. Photo session took place in that shopping center. Thanks also to my assistant Uros and brother Metod who was also one of the models. Enjoy!

Telelens dilemma

Monday, August 27th, 2007

I need a new Tele-lens!

I have in my mind these two ones:

Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS USM

+great quality, 2.8, very useful for serious projects, weddings

-too heavy and too long, too perceivable, expensive 1750€(from germany)

and

Canon 70-300 4.5-5.6 DO IS

+very small, very light, imperceptible, up to 300mm, great for travels, price 1050€ (from germany)

-worse quality, 4.5-5.6 only

I don`t know which one to buy. Because I probably need 70-200 for its great quality but on the other side it has many minuses. And for travelling seems 70-300 as perfect telelens.
