This week we had a photo-ski-snowboarding trip/event/meeting at Krvavec. Jaka Vinšek, Matjaž Tančič, Uroš Žuraj. Great photographers and Jaka amazing as “snowrider” as well!

One time I have fallen directly on my photographic rucksack and I could felt my 5D very nicely. 
Last year in May 2007 I went to London with purpose to attend a seminar of a well known photo agency VII from USA. It last 2 days but I spent 4-5 more days in order to explore London again after several years from my first visit. Maja also attended that seminar btw. Anyway when I was walking on the streets of London I was very inspired from that seminar. I really wanted to capture and freeze emotions and moments in life of people of London.
I always say that at photography editing is one third of everything or of a good result. It took a lot of time at this project. Editing and trying to connect pictures or tell stories with pictures as an essay is something I am learning and starting to understand more and more.

My friend from Asia said one time that my photography is about capturing life and humanity. I believe that is shown here very well. There is a theory that I have about photography. Photography is like a map of treasures. Treasures presents good pictures. And it depends on you only if you gonna collect them. Just like in London. At most pictures I had to wait and observe very well. It is not about simply going by and take it. It is about predicting and observing. Waiting also for an hour if it is nessesary. No matter how but what is important the most is the result. And beyond that a message that you want to convey.
My message here is about people. We are all the same. There are no uppeople. We are all seeking for love. I like this diary because it presents us people so well. What we do. What we feel. We are all like little ants. Very similar but yet very different. Very shy or very brave. It is all about if we decide. It is all about on every each of us. I can change only myself and so do you. But we can influence on other. And so the world goes on. Enjoy.
Btw when I was checking in at slovenian airport I met a friend. Matjaz! He was going to London as well. Same flight same day. And we didn’t know about it before. And so we spend some time there.

I had a huge project last summer. Torist-hotel-complex Plesnik in Logarska valley hired me to take pictures of everything they offer, all classical shots, creative shots, shots for web site, catalogues, posters… It took 3-4 days to complete everything. I am submiting here only a little part of everything.
Logar Valley is actually one of the European Alps’ most beautiful glacial valleys. You can visit the Rinka waterfall, climb to the Alpine hut at Okrešelj and, as an option, a kayak or raft ride down the Savinja river.
Their 4* hotel offers comfortable, modern rooms, mostly with balconies overlooking either forest or mountains. All rooms have an internet connection and satellite TV. It has a well regarded restaurant, a terrace with fantastic views and a swimming pool, sauna, solarium and massage centre. The Plesnik is a lovely place to unwind and arguably the finest hotel in the region. Ok enough promotion for them. But indeed it is a nice place to escape and simply relax. And btw food is excellent!!
I am also teaching photography and we had a photographic trip to Planica.There is a competition-World Cup Ski Jumping. What is fascinating about this jump is that it is the biggest one in the world! Current world record is held by Bjoern Einar Romoeren - 239 m from Planica in 2005.
