Here’s another football-themed project. I got a call from Babycenter, Slovenia’s largest chain of baby and kids clothes. They have a special collection – baby football outfits. The idea: the youngest Slovenian football team ever! After we decided on the concept of the photos, we put the kids on the set and … away they went! In every direction. What can you expect when you have 11 babies on the set.

It was great fun, but also quite challenging to get the photos right. Especially since everything was shot in the studio, due to cold weather, which means a bit more work in post-production was needed. But the greatest challenge were our future football stars - how do you tell 11 babies to pose and look into the camera? It took a lot of team effort, but the photos turned out great. Big thanks to all the parents and my assistant Klemen Ilovar for motivating and entertaining our young models!

This is my second project this year for Ljubljanske mlekarne, Slovenia’s largest producer of dairy products. This time for one of the oldest, most famous and most popular brands in Slovenia – Alpsko mleko (longlasting milk). The campaign with the headline “Unbeatable taste!” was created by advertising agency Pristop.

This time the main theme is rugby, with people battling for a carton of milk instead of the ball. It all becomes an exciting game on the streets of Ljubljana, from the first pass and right to the touchdown! The photoshoot took place during the filming of the TV ad, so I had only a few minutes to get each photo right. With a lot of effort and a great team we managed to make excellent shots, I’m very pleased with how the photos turned out. And so are the client and the agency! The photos will be used in print and on the web.

It’s been a while since I’ve last updated my blog and I’m happy to say that’s not due to laziness. I’m currently having the busiest and most exciting time of my life!

And when it comes to excitement, I’m not the only one. Slovenia is on its feet as well! The reason? Football, of course! And with Slovenia qualifying for the World Cup, there is hardly an ad that doesn’t sport some football reference. One of the biggest advertising tributes to Slovenia’s football is the latest campaign from Mobitel, the largest national mobile operator, with the title “You’re as big as your heart is!”

The nation-wide campaign was created by Publicis and Ajax Studio. I have to say it’s been an honour to be a part of this project. Special thanks to Ajax Studio as well, for being great to work with and producing great work!

We’ve photographed 11 young, perspective Slovenian football players, who together represent Mobitel’s “big heart” team. The message: it doesn’t matter how big you are, it’s the size of your heart that counts. With two million people sharing the same dream, we’ve proven we can make that dream a reality. And we’ve proven you’re as big as your heart is!

There are 11 different billboard ads all over Slovenia. I’m very pleased with the photos! The only trouble is … they all almost make me forget about the road when I’m driving past!
