South Africa seems to be everywhere this year. Even on the cover of the newest edition of Marketing Magazin! Mitja Zupančič is Beiersdorf’s managing director of Beiersdorf South Africa, so his extensive knowledge has made him a great choice for this month’s main article in MM. Just in case you’re not too familiar with Beiersdorf – they are the guys behind brands such as Nivea, Labello and Hansaplast. The photos were done for the magazine cover and the article – very happy with them.

Mitja Zupančič has been living in Durban, Republic of South Africa, for three years now. I would love to get sent halfway across the world for a photoshoot, but this time we had to do it during the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF 2010) where Mitja was a visitor It was also an opportunity for an interesting conversation, from the cultural differences to, of course, the World Cup! I enjoyed it a lot. And the interview is a great read, too.
